SALISBURY, N.C – Bottom Dollar Food will open two additional stores in New Jersey on Friday, June 29 at 156 W. Browning Road in Bellmawr, N.J., and 4225 S. Route 130 in Edgewater Park, N.J. The first 200 customers at each store will receive a free Bottom Dollar Food reusable bag filled with groceries.
The stores will open to the public at 8 a.m. following ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
“In January, we announced plans to open several stores in New Jersey throughout this year and in 2013, and we look forward to serving customers at our Bellmawr and Edgewater Park locations,” said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. “Customers will find unbelievable prices on fresh produce, quality meats and a variety of private brand and national brand items at our stores.”
Bottom Dollar Food will donate to various schools, non-profit organizations and community programs in the Bellmawr and Edgewater Park communities as part of the grand opening festivities. Since announcing earlier this year its planned store openings in the Garden State, the discount grocer has donated $10,500 to local schools and organizations in New Jersey.
In the Edgewater Park, N.J., area, Bottom Dollar Food is donating $500 to each of the following: Burlington City High School, Mildred Magowan Elementary School, Samuel M. Ridgway Middle School and the Beverly Presbyterian Church Food Pantry.
In the Bellmawr, N.J., area, Bottom Dollar Food is donating $500 to each of the following: Bell Oaks Elementary School, Bellmawr Park Elementary, Ethel M. Burke Elementary School, Triton Regional High School and the Bellmawr Borough Clean Communities program.
