BOTTOM DOLLAR FOOD TO CELEBRATE OPENING OF NEW WOODBURY, N.J., STORE JULY 11 BY GIVING FREE GROCERIES TO FIRST 200 CUSTOMERS

LOCATION ADDS 55 JOBS TO LOCAL ECONOMY AND CONTRIBUTES TO DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT EFFORTS

Jul. 9, 2013

SALISBURY, N.C. – Bottom Dollar Food will open its newest location in the greater Philadelphia market on July 11 at 215 South Broad Street in Woodbury, N.J. The first 200 customers at the new location on Thursday will receive a free Bottom Dollar Food reusable bag filled with groceries, and additional customers will receive free reusable bags throughout the day.

“Bottom Dollar Food is proud to bring its commitment to providing unbelievable prices on fresh produce, quality meats, private brands and the national brands that matter most to our customers in Woodbury,” said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. “There has been a great deal of excitement around this store opening, and we look forward to opening our doors to Woodbury customers and being a good partner in the community.”

The new store will open to the public at 8 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Several government officials and dignitaries will be on hand for the much anticipated grand opening. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

With a strong focus on delivering low prices to customers, Bottom Dollar Food has a “We Won’t Be Beat” guarantee and will beat any competitor’s price on the same item by a penny. In addition, if a customer is unsatisfied with a meat or produce purchase, stores will replace the item and give customers a full refund. Bottom Dollar Food also offers a double-money-back guarantee on all private brand products.

“It is great to see a new viable business emerge on a property, right in the middle of our downtown, that was blighted and abandoned – on top of the fact that Bottom Dollar Food is bringing 55 new jobs to the city and will provide an opportunity for extended purchasing to our many local businesses,” said Woodbury Mayor Bill Volk. “We welcome Bottom Dollar Food, its staff and its customers to Woodbury and appreciate the generous donations they are making to the community.”

The Woodbury location adds 55 jobs to the local economy. It is the 12th Bottom Dollar Food store in New Jersey. The grocer operates 38 stores in the Philadelphia market and 54 total stores. Each store is approximately 18,000 square feet.
