SALISBURY, N.C. – Bottom Dollar Food is pleased to announce that Bridgeport, Pa., resident Susan Shannon has won its BBQ Blowout Sweepstakes. Shannon will receive the grand prize of $1,000 in free groceries and a Char-Broil TRU-Infrared Commercial 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill at her local Bottom Dollar Food store in King of Prussia, Pa., this Saturday, August 17.
“I still can't believe my entry was chosen as the winner in the BBQ Blowout Sweepstakes,” said Shannon. “The prizes are amazing and couldn't have come at a better time. I have four children – two in high school and two in college. The gift card will help tremendously in filling their back to school needs. As for the grill, if you could only see my present grill! It is being held up on piles of bricks and the grates to grill on are rusting away. This is truly a great way to end the summer.”
The BBQ Blowout Sweepstakes took place on Facebook from June 20 to July 24. Customers could enter the sweepstakes via the Bottom Dollar Food Facebook fan page by “liking” the page and entering their contact information and membership card number. Contestants could also gain additional entries for the random drawing with any purchase of a fresh meat or produce item at Bottom Dollar Food locations during the sweepstakes period. Shannon’s submission was selected from more than 9,300 entries.
