Bottom Dollar Food to Open Store in Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 4

SALISBURY, N.C– Bottom Dollar Food will open a store in Philadelphia on Thursday at 3975 Castor Ave. The first 200 customers at the store will receive a free Bottom Dollar Food reusable bag filled with groceries.

“We appreciate the overwhelming support of residents living in the Juniata Park area over the past year and look forward to opening the Castor Avenue store on Thursday,” said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. “We invite customers in the surrounding community to come experience our unbelievable prices on fresh produce, quality meats, and mix of private brand and national brand items that matter most.”

The Castor Avenue store will open to the public at 8 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

As part of the grand opening festivities, Bottom Dollar Food will donate $500 to each of the following schools: Francis Hopkinson Elementary, Frankford High School, St. Lucy Day School for Children with Visual Impairments and Warren G. Harding Middle School.
